We expose and educate youth to the growing careers in STEM through our four innovative and comprehensive programs:
S.T.E.A.M.E.D. Workforce Accelerator
The STEM Workforce Accelerator is a comprehensive IT/STEM program designed to help better align the workforce with industry in-demand skills. The goal is to provide greater access to industry 4.0 skills and jobs through alternative educational pathways like internships, apprenticeship, and pre-apprenticeship.
This program focuses on addressing the challenges of the modern dynamic labor market through innovative technologies.
The STEM Workforce Accelerator and Internship Program provides students with high-quality experiential learning in sought-after, sustainable STEM occupations. Working hand-in-hand with current school/life schedules, students are placed in a zero period STEM work-based program that will train, certify and deploy youth ages 16- 24 in the following, but not limited to, IT/STEM careers:
- Cybersecurity
- Networking
- Coding
- Multimedia Art & Design
- Electronics & Desktop Support
The entire program is 18 months and includes:
- 15 months of hands on, project-based training and online digital badging.
- 3 months of on-the-job internship and practice, self-study to certify in an entry level certification.
Students who complete STEM internships are much more marketable to potential employers. Science and technology employers who participate get to train the next generation of workers in fields that will shape Northern California’s economy.
eSTEAMED Academy
Unlock your child’s curiosity and imagination with the leading provider for STEAM education. Your child will dive into the hottest courses in coding, game dev, graphic design, engineering, robotics, design, math and more boosting their portfolio with digital badging, impressive projects, and official transcripts.
Guided by our qualified elite tech instructor’s they will have explore, experiment, and have fun with hands on projects, advance their skills fast, and receive STEM career pathway coaching services along the way.

Cybersecurity Career Bootcamp
Our two-day intensive cybersecurity hackathon and bootcamp provides youth an comprehensive introduction into the world and career pathway opportunities in Cybersecurity.
Day One – youth will engage in multiple workshops that will introduce them into topics in the cybersecurity filed.
Day Two – hackathon style workshop where youth will prepare their own cybersecurity project, compete for prizes in a bounty hunt and meet with experts in the field
Code for Hood
Code for Hood is Operation Innovates flagship program. Code for Hood brings immersive and comprehensive STEM/STEAMED events in full partnership with Community based organizations for the Sacramento community via our Get STEAMED Initiative
