California’s Chief Information Security Officer and Director of the Office of Information Security, Peter Liebert brings over six years of cyber-security experience. Liebert has shown his expertise from the U.S. Navy and Department of Defense to the private sector. Following his extensive service in government cybersecurity and defense, Liebert became senior product manager at FireEye, a public, intel-led cyber-security company. His certifications and awards include:

Senior Advisor to California’s State Chief Information Security Officer, Kathy Cruz provides leadership in cybersecurity strategy and major initiatives. With over 25 years o experience in the private and public sector, Kathy is a recognized innovator and leader. As a five-time Chief Information Officer, she has been instrumental in implementing complex and innovative technical solutions to solve business problems, improve efficiency and advance business opportunities.
Kathy is the recipient of CIO Magazine 100 Award, recognizing the top 100 CIOs in the U.S. She is also recipient of the Silicon Valley YWCA Tribute to Women in Industry (TWIN) Award. She is a past Board Member of the Career Action Center in San Jose, CA, and a former member of Golden Gate University School of Technology and Industry Executive Advisory Board. While an executive in Silicon Valley, Kathy attended Stanford University Executive Institute for Management of Technology Companies.
